Why does Lyro wait before returning batch verification results?

Get Batch Results returns a 405 while a batch is still processing, so results genuinely are not there yet. Lyro tracks the batch ID that Create Batch Request hands back and reads results once the run completes, or you can supply a callback URL at creation time instead of polling.

Are credits spent on emails Bouncer never got to?

Not if the batch is closed properly. Finish Batch marks a run as finished early and reclaims credits for the unprocessed emails, but only while the batch is in processing status - it cannot close one that is still queued or already completed. Lyro reads Get Credits either side so the balance is visible.

How long does Bouncer hold on to a verification batch?

Bouncer deletes batch data automatically after 60 days if it is not removed sooner. Delete Batch Request clears the batch and every email and result attached to it immediately, and the call is idempotent, so running it twice on the same batch ID is safe.

Can Lyro tell whether a domain accepts mail for any address?

Yes. Verify Domain confirms both the MX records and the catch-all behaviour of a domain, which matters because a catch-all accepts mail for addresses that do not exist and makes a single-address result look better than it is. Lyro pairs it with Verify Email when a result needs that second opinion.
