Setup, permissions, and the limits of what Lyro can do inside TinyFish MCP.

  • The run is still executing on TinyFish's side. Calling Run Web Automation again would create a duplicate, so Lyro recovers the existing run instead - Discover Run for the current session, or List Runs filtered to status RUNNING - and then polls Get Run until it reaches a terminal state.

  • Runs typically take a few minutes and the toolkit asks for 30 to 60 seconds between polls. Lyro therefore starts with Run Web Automation Async, which returns a run ID straight away, and reports progress from Poll Status rather than holding the conversation open on a blocking call.

  • Cancel Run is idempotent. On a run already in COMPLETED, FAILED, or CANCELLED state it returns the current status without erroring, and only PENDING and RUNNING runs are actively stopped, so asking twice is safe.

  • A Zapier or Make step calls a fixed endpoint, and a scraper depends on selectors that break when a page changes. Here Lyro passes a goal in natural language to Run Web Automation and TinyFish works out the navigation itself, then Get Steps shows what it did.
