Setup, permissions, and the limits of what Lyro can do inside TinyPNG.

  • JPEG, PNG and WebP - the formats the Tinify API accepts. Compress and Store Image in Azure names all three explicitly, and Transform Compressed Image can convert between them once a file has been shrunk.

  • The destination Azure Blob URL and a SAS token with write access to it. With both, Compress and Store Image in Azure handles compression and upload in one call, so the file never lands anywhere in between.

  • Get TinyPNG Compression Count returns the number of compressions made in the current month against the API key you connected. Compressions Lyro runs count towards that same total, so the figure it reports includes its own work.

  • A workflow runs one fixed chain per trigger. Lyro picks the chain per request - shrink then download for a quick fix, shrink then transform then download when the file also needs resizing, or the single Azure action when the result belongs in storage.
