Which of these Canva actions need a paid plan?

The toolkit is explicit about a few. Listing brand templates and reading Enterprise brand template metadata are Canva Enterprise only, design autofill is available to Canva Enterprise members, and Create Design Resize Job requires Canva Pro or Enterprise. The design, asset, folder, comment, and export actions do not carry that restriction.

Why does Lyro poll after starting a Canva job?

Because the heavy operations are asynchronous. Asset uploads, URL imports, design imports, exports, resizes, and autofills each start a job and return an ID, with a matching status action reporting when the result is ready. Lyro starts the job and comes back for the output rather than holding the conversation open.

How long does a Canva connection stay valid?

Canva issues time-limited OAuth access tokens that last four hours. The toolkit includes the token exchange, an introspection action to check a token's validity and properties, and a revoke action that ends a refresh token's lineage, so a long-running integration refreshes rather than holding one token indefinitely.

Are any of these Canva endpoints still in preview?

Yes, and Canva labels them. The design comment actions, the design page listing, and the webhook signing key endpoint are marked preview, with the signing key API described as unstable and not for public integrations. They work today, but it is worth knowing which part of a workflow depends on them.
