What permissions does Lyro need to connect to Egnyte?

Can Lyro create new files in Egnyte, or only read and update existing data?

The current Egnyte toolkit gives Lyro three actions: connecting an account, looking up existing data, and triggering an update. It does not include a dedicated action for uploading or creating new files.

Does Lyro replace the Egnyte dashboard for managing files?

No. Lyro surfaces Egnyte lookups and updates inside a conversation so a team doesn't have to switch tools mid-chat, but detailed file management, permissions, and governance settings still live in the Egnyte dashboard itself.

What happens if the Egnyte connection hasn't been set up yet?

Lyro can't look up or update Egnyte data until an account is connected through the toolkit's connect action - that one-time authorization has to happen before any lookup or update will work.
