Can Lyro trigger a scrape on demand?

Only through the scheduler. Enable Sitemap Scheduler configures automated runs with a cron expression and Disable Sitemap Scheduler stops them, but there is no action that fires a one-off job immediately. Lyro can change the schedule or switch it back on, then report progress with Get Scraping Jobs.

How does Lyro know whether the account can afford another run?

Get Account Info returns the account email and its page credit balance, which is what Web Scraper Cloud draws down per page scraped. Lyro can check credits before enabling a schedule, so a large sitemap is not switched on against a balance that will not cover it.

Does Lyro control which proxy or driver a scheduled job uses?

Those live in the scheduler configuration that Enable Sitemap Scheduler writes and Get Sitemap Scheduler reads, alongside the cron expression, request interval, and page load delay.
