Templated

Templated MCP integration

Renders templates into images and PDFs, authors and edits templates and layers, organises them into folders, and reports available fonts and uploads.

30actions available

Three actions you can hand over today

Every action runs live through MCP. Nothing to build, nothing to maintain.

  • Create template

Lyro builds a new design template in Templated with specified dimensions, layers, and text fields, ready for renders. Your team can reuse the template for batch jobs, social media, or customer campaigns.

  • Retrieve template render

Lyro fetches details of a finished render including its output format, file status, and download URL. You get instant confirmation that a design render succeeded and can share it right away.

  • Clone template

Lyro duplicates an existing template so you can create variants without rebuilding from scratch. Cloned templates inherit all layers and properties, cutting design time significantly.

How businesses use Templated + Lyro

Each card is one request a support team gets, and the Templated actions Lyro runs to close it.

  • Produce the asset somebody just asked for

Lyro renders a template with the values supplied, duplicates a render when a near-identical version is needed, and merges several renders into one PDF when the output should be a single document.

  • Define and evolve the template itself

Lyro creates a template with its dimensions, background images, and text layers, clones an existing one as the starting point for a variant, and edits the properties and layers of a template already in use.

  • Keep templates and renders findable

Lyro creates the folder a set of work belongs in and moves templates and renders into it, which also matters at cleanup time because a folder has to be empty before it can be deleted.

  • Report on what is available to build with

Lyro lists the fonts on the account including Google Fonts and custom uploads, the images already uploaded with their URLs, and the public gallery templates that can be cloned.

How it works

Get started in 3 steps

Connect once, then just ask. There is no workflow builder to learn and nothing to maintain — Lyro reads the Templated actions it has and picks the ones a request needs.

  1. 01

    Connect Templated

Authorize the Templated account your team already uses — one consent screen, no API keys, no mapping tables. Lyro can only do what you granted that account, and you can disconnect it at any time.

  2. 02

Tell your agent what you need

Describe the job the way you would hand it to a teammate. Lyro maps it to the Templated actions that close it and chains as many as the request needs.

  3. 03

    Watch it work

The agent runs the actions inside the conversation the customer is already in, so nobody copies data between tabs and your team can take over at any point.

Everything else about Templated

Setup, permissions, and the limits of what Lyro can do inside Templated.

  • Only if you ask it to. Update Template accepts replaceLayers=true, which replaces the whole layer set and removes any layer not present in the array you pass. Left off, the update is partial and untouched layers survive, so Lyro defaults to the partial form unless a full replacement is what was requested.
