Not through this toolkit. Optimize Image by URL fetches an externally hosted image, so the file needs a URL Kraken.io itself can reach. An asset sitting behind a login or existing only as a chat attachment has to be published somewhere reachable before Lyro can compress it.

Does the optimized image come back straight away?

It can. Optimize Image by URL returns the result immediately when its wait option is set, so Lyro can hand the compressed file back inside the same exchange rather than through a callback the person would have to sit and wait on.

Can Lyro resize or change format, or only compress?
