No. Every action here reads: content items, language variants, languages, content types, and content type elements. There is no create, update, publish, or asset action, so a content change still goes through Kontent.ai and Lyro reports what is already there.

What does Lyro need before a lookup will work?

The environment ID, and then the item, language, or content type identifier. Get Content Item, List Content Types, and List Languages are all documented as calls to make once the environment or project ID is confirmed, so pointing Lyro at the right environment is the setup step.

How does a large content set come back?

Paginated. List Content Items reads through the Delivery API and accepts a continuation token, and List Content Types returns a paginated list of definitions, so a big environment is walked in pages rather than returned in one response.

Why not just sync Kontent.ai into a knowledge base with Zapier?

A sync leaves you with a copy that goes stale between runs. Lyro calls Get Content Item or Get Language Variant while the conversation is still open, so a customer sees the current version of a policy or product description rather than whatever was last exported.
