Google Maps MCP integration
Finds the nearest open location, geocodes an address, calculates travel time, and returns a photo or embeddable map with the answer.
19actions available
Three actions you can hand over today
Every action runs live through MCP. Nothing to build, nothing to maintain.
Get place details
Lyro looks up detailed information about a business location including address, hours, phone, and ratings. You get a complete picture to help customers find or verify a location.
Nearby search
Lyro finds places like restaurants or stores within a specific area and returns details about each. You can quickly help customers locate services they need nearby.
Get place photo
Lyro retrieves high-quality photos of a business from Google Maps. You can show customers what a venue looks like or verify the physical location they're asking about.
How businesses use Google Maps + Lyro
Each card is one request a support team gets, and the Google Maps actions Lyro runs to close it.
Find the nearest location that is actually open
Lyro searches by phrase or within a radius, filters out results marked permanently or temporarily closed, and pulls the full record for the branch it ends up recommending.
Text SearchNearby SearchGet Place DetailsConvert an address into coordinates and back
Lyro geocodes a typed address into latitude and longitude, reverses a coordinate pair into a readable address, and resolves a Place ID when the customer has already picked a specific spot.
Geocode Address With QueryReverse Geocode LocationGeocode Place By IDQuote travel time before promising a slot
Lyro calculates a route between two points, or a distance and duration matrix across many origins and destinations, so a delivery window or an appointment time rests on real travel time.
Get RouteCompute Route MatrixGeolocate DeviceSend back a map, a photo, or an aerial view
Lyro returns an embeddable map iframe, a photograph from the Places database, or a rendered aerial video, so directions arrive as something the customer can actually look at.

How it works
Get started in 3 steps
Connect once, then just ask. There is no workflow builder to learn and nothing to maintain — Lyro reads the Google Maps actions it has and picks the ones a request needs.
- 01
Connect Google Maps
Authorize the Google Maps account your team already uses — one consent screen, no API keys, no mapping tables. Lyro can only do what you granted that account, and you can disconnect it at any time.
- 02
Tell your agent what you need
Describe the job the way you would hand it to a teammate. Lyro maps it to the Google Maps actions that close it and chains as many as the request needs.
- 03
Watch it work
The agent runs the actions inside the conversation the customer is already in, so nobody copies data between tabs and your team can take over at any point.

Everything else about Google Maps
Setup, permissions, and the limits of what Lyro can do inside Google Maps.
Not quite. Most of the toolkit runs over OAuth2, but Embed Google Map works only with an API key because it builds a public embed URL instead of calling the API, and the tile actions need a session token from Create Tiles Session before Get 2D Map Tile will return an image to Lyro.
