Can Lyro convert an amount, or only fetch the rate?

The toolkit exposes three read actions - Get Latest Exchange Rates, Get Historical Rates, and Get Supported Symbols - and no dedicated conversion endpoint. Lyro fetches the rate and applies it to the amount in the conversation, so the customer still gets a converted figure, but it is derived from the rate Fixer returned rather than from a Fixer conversion call.

Whose Fixer quota do these lookups draw on?

Your own. Every call runs against the Fixer API key you connect, so the requests count against that plan's allowance rather than a separate Lyro pool. If a lookup fails because the key is exhausted, the conversation is handed to a human agent with the full history attached rather than answered with a stale figure.

Can a Fixer rate feed into the next step of the same conversation?

Yes. Lyro chooses its actions while the conversation is still open, so a rate returned by Get Latest Exchange Rates can go straight into the next thing it does - quoting a refund amount, noting the figure on a ticket in your help desk - rather than ending as a standalone lookup.
