Receipt OCR V3, which returns 40 or more structured fields including merchant info, line items, taxes, and payments. Receipt OCR V1 and its quota action are marked legacy and deprecated, and Get Receipt Quota V2 is deprecated too, so they only matter for accounts still on an older flow.

How is a multi-page document counted against quota?

By the page. The deprecated receipt quota notes state that each page of a multi-page receipt counts as one request, and Get Current Month Usage reports pages processed, over-usage, and cost for the billing period rather than a document count.

Are batch results returned in the same reply?

No. Submit Batch Any Document OCR Task is asynchronous: it returns a task ID that is checked afterwards for status and results. Delete Batch Processing Task removes a submitted task from the queue before it has been processed.

Can we audit which OCR calls were made and when?

Yes. Get Usage Request Logs returns a chronological list of recent API calls with page counts and timestamps, which is what makes an unexpected spike in consumption traceable to the calls behind it.
