  • No. Currents News API is read-only here: the two news actions retrieve articles and nothing writes, saves or tags them. Anything a reader should keep has to be written into your own system by a separate integration.

  • Search News Articles paginates, so a broad topic is walked page by page rather than truncated at the first result set. The language, category, country and date-range filters usually narrow it enough that pagination is not needed at all.

  • Use it with attribution. Search News Articles returns the author and publication date alongside the text, so a claim can be tied to a named source and a date rather than asserted bare, and anything Lyro cannot stand behind goes to a human agent with the full conversation history attached.
