No. Every action in this toolkit reads: Get Sports, Get Events, Get Participants, Get Odds, Get Event Odds, Get Event Markets, and Get Scores. Nothing stakes, settles, or writes anything back to a bookmaker, so Lyro reports prices and results rather than acting on them.

Why does a lookup sometimes come back empty instead of erroring?

A mismatched sport key or event ID returns an empty payload rather than an error. Lyro therefore confirms the exact key with Get Sports and the event ID with Get Events before calling Get Event Odds, which matters because similarly named leagues and their qualifier competitions are listed as separate keys.

Does Lyro's usage draw on our own Odds API request allowance?

Yes. Calls run against the API key you connect, so they count as your account's requests. The Get Events action explicitly warns against high-frequency polling, so Lyro fetches on demand for the question being asked instead of watching a line in the background.

What timezone are the event times Lyro quotes?

All timestamps returned by the API are UTC. When identifying a specific fixture, Lyro matches on team names and date together, because multi-leg ties and similarly named teams otherwise resolve to the wrong game.
