Missive

Missive MCP integration

Reads conversations with their messages and comments, drafts replies from saved responses, assigns and closes threads, and merges duplicates.

40actions available

Three actions you can hand over today

Every action runs live through MCP. Nothing to build, nothing to maintain.

  • Create missive task

Lyro creates a task in Missive to track follow-up items from customer conversations. Nothing slips through the cracks—every action has an assigned owner and deadline.

  • Get missive message

Lyro retrieves the full content of a message including headers, attachments, and formatting. Agents access complete conversation context without hunting through email clients or web interfaces.

  • Merge missive conversations

Lyro combines multiple Missive conversations about the same customer or issue into one unified thread. Your support team stops duplicating effort across fragmented conversations.

How businesses use Missive + Lyro

Each card is one request a support team gets, and the Missive actions Lyro runs to close it.

  • Catch up on a shared-inbox thread

Lyro fetches the conversation with its assignees, labels, and team, lists the messages newest first, and reads the internal comments beside them, so the thread's full state is in view before anything is sent.

  • Draft a reply from wording the team keeps

Lyro pulls the saved canned responses, opens the message being answered with its headers, body, and attachments, and saves a draft for email, SMS, WhatsApp, or live chat rather than sending blind.

  • Assign, label, and close in one action

A Missive post can comment, close a conversation, assign a user, and apply a label in a single call, and Lyro uses it that way - then merges the duplicate thread a customer opened twice into the original.

  • Turn a thread into tracked work

Lyro creates a standalone task, a conversation-linked subtask, or a team task from whatever a thread needs next, updates its state as things move, and generates an analytics report over a time range.

How it works

Get started in 3 steps

Connect once, then just ask. There is no workflow builder to learn and nothing to maintain — Lyro reads the Missive actions it has and picks the ones a request needs.

  1. 01

    Connect Missive

Authorize the Missive account your team already uses — one consent screen, no API keys, no mapping tables. Lyro can only do what you granted that account, and you can disconnect it at any time.

  2. 02

Tell your agent what you need

Describe the job the way you would hand it to a teammate. Lyro maps it to the Missive actions that close it and chains as many as the request needs.

  3. 03

    Watch it work

The agent runs the actions inside the conversation the customer is already in, so nobody copies data between tabs and your team can take over at any point.

Everything else about Missive

Setup, permissions, and the limits of what Lyro can do inside Missive.

  • Only with an admin token. Delete Saved Responses requires the API token behind the connection to belong to an admin when the response is organization-level, and the deletion cannot be undone. Update Saved Response is the safer path when the wording just needs changing.
