Mapbox MCP integration
Geocodes addresses one at a time or in bulk, calculates routes, travel-time matrices and isochrones, and returns ready-to-share map images.
32actions available
Three actions you can hand over today
Every action runs live through MCP. Nothing to build, nothing to maintain.
Search box forward
Lyro searches for places by name or address using the Mapbox API. You quickly find locations, verify addresses, or help customers pinpoint destinations.
Retrieve matrix
Lyro calculates travel time and distance between multiple locations instantly. You provide accurate delivery estimates or route planning to customers.
Forward geocode v5
Lyro converts a street address into precise latitude and longitude coordinates. You verify delivery zones or geofence areas for location-based services.
How businesses use Mapbox + Lyro
Each card is one request a support team gets, and the Mapbox actions Lyro runs to close it.
Resolve a messy address into a real place
Lyro converts a free-form address or place name into coordinates, offers autocomplete suggestions when the customer only typed part of it, and pulls the full place record once the right match is picked.
Forward GeocodingSearch Box SuggestRetrieve Searchbox Place DetailsGeocode a whole address list in one pass
Lyro sends up to 1,000 queries through a single batch geocoding request, mixing forward and reverse lookups, so an imported customer or store list comes back with coordinates attached.
Batch Geocode V6Batch GeocodingReverse Geocoding V6Answer how far and how long it takes
Lyro retrieves driving directions between waypoints, builds a travel time and distance matrix across several locations at once, and draws the area reachable within a given time or distance.
Retrieve DirectionsRetrieve MatrixGet IsochroneHand back a map instead of a coordinate pair
Lyro requests a static map image of the area in your own Mapbox Studio style, adds a standalone marker image, or returns embeddable HTML for the style, so the answer arrives as something a customer can look at.

How it works
Get started in 3 steps
Connect once, then just ask. There is no workflow builder to learn and nothing to maintain — Lyro reads the Mapbox actions it has and picks the ones a request needs.
- 01
Connect Mapbox
Authorize the Mapbox account your team already uses — one consent screen, no API keys, no mapping tables. Lyro can only do what you granted that account, and you can disconnect it at any time.
- 02
Tell your agent what you need
Describe the job the way you would hand it to a teammate. Lyro maps it to the Mapbox actions that close it and chains as many as the request needs.
- 03
Watch it work
The agent runs the actions inside the conversation the customer is already in, so nobody copies data between tabs and your team can take over at any point.

Everything else about Mapbox
Setup, permissions, and the limits of what Lyro can do inside Mapbox.
It depends which batch action is used: Batch Geocode V6 accepts up to 1,000 queries in one request, while Batch Geocoding is capped at 50 queries per call. Map Matching by POST takes 2 to 100 coordinates per trace, so long GPS traces have to be split.
