Can Lyro send a letter or postcard through Lob?

No. This toolkit is Lob's link and campaign side: short links, custom domains, QR code analytics, uploads, and identity validation. There is no create-letter, template, or mail-tracking action exposed, so print and mail production stays in Lob itself.

Why would deleting a Lob domain fail?

Because links are still attached to it. Delete Domain should only run once every link on that domain has been removed, so Lyro lists them with List Shortened Links filtered by domain and clears each one with Delete Link first.

What does Lyro need to change an existing short link?

The link_id and at least a redirect_link. With those, Update Link can also change the title and metadata, which means a short URL already printed or distributed can be pointed somewhere new instead of being reissued.

What does Validate Identity actually check?

Whether a given name is associated with an address in Lob's records. It is a match check on the recipient rather than a full deliverability report, so it confirms the person against the address instead of correcting a badly formatted one.
