Harvest

Harvest MCP integration

Logs hours to the right project, sends estimates from a scoping conversation, raises invoices and records payments, and sets new clients up to bill.

57actions available

Three actions you can hand over today

Every action runs live through MCP. Nothing to build, nothing to maintain.

  • Create invoice payment

Lyro records a new payment against an invoice. Agents document customer payments and update billing status.

  • Update invoice

Lyro modifies an invoice's details and amounts. Support teams adjust billing when corrections are needed.

  • Get invoice

Lyro retrieves the full details of a specific invoice. Agents answer customer billing questions accurately.

How businesses use Harvest + Lyro

Each card is one request a support team gets, and the Harvest actions Lyro runs to close it.

  • Log the hours without opening a timer

Lyro creates the time entry against the right project and task from what someone describes in chat, corrects an entry whose hours or notes were wrong, and reads back what has been logged this week.

  • Turn a scoping conversation into an estimate

Lyro builds the estimate from the client and line items just agreed, sends it to the client as an estimate message, and reopens it later when the scope moves.

  • Raise the invoice and record what came back

Lyro creates the invoice from tracked time and expenses, sends the notification that puts it in front of the client, and records the payment against it once it clears.

  • Stand up a new client ready to bill

Lyro registers the client, adds the contact who will receive the paperwork, and creates the project that time and expenses will be tracked against, so nothing is logged against the wrong container.

How it works

Get started in 3 steps

Connect once, then just ask. There is no workflow builder to learn and nothing to maintain — Lyro reads the Harvest actions it has and picks the ones a request needs.

  1. 01

    Connect Harvest

Authorize the Harvest account your team already uses — one consent screen, no API keys, no mapping tables. Lyro can only do what you granted that account, and you can disconnect it at any time.

  2. 02

Tell your agent what you need

Describe the job the way you would hand it to a teammate. Lyro maps it to the Harvest actions that close it and chains as many as the request needs.

  3. 03

    Watch it work

The agent runs the actions inside the conversation the customer is already in, so nobody copies data between tabs and your team can take over at any point.

Everything else about Harvest

Setup, permissions, and the limits of what Lyro can do inside Harvest.

  • More than you might expect, and deliberately so. Delete Client only works on a client with no projects, invoices, or estimates attached; Delete Task only on a task with no time entries; Delete User only on a user with no time entries; and Delete Time Entry only on an entry that is not locked. Delete Invoice additionally requires administrator permissions.
