Yes, powered by Algolia. Search Hackernews Posts runs full-text search across stories, comments, and discussions with filtering by post type, which is a different index from the Firebase endpoints the ranked lists and item lookups use.

Can Lyro post, comment, or vote on Hacker News?

No. Every action in the toolkit reads: stories, items, users, and updates. Lyro can summarise a thread or check what a username has submitted, but it cannot submit, reply, or vote, so there is no way for it to act on the platform in your name.

What does Lyro see about a Hacker News user?
