  • A Program is the parent object - cards, locations, and transactions all belong to one. Brands are independent of programs and can be reused across them, and a location is created for a program but can be filtered by brand through List Locations by Brand. Lyro follows that hierarchy rather than treating the three as interchangeable.

  • No. Update Brand covers the website URL, logo URL, and metadata, but the brand name itself cannot be changed after the brand is created. For everything else on a brand record, Update Brand is the right action.

  • It can raise and track the request. Create MID Request opens a new MID request for a specific program and location or reassigns an existing one, Get MID Request returns its status, and List MIDs returns the merchant IDs already active on a program.

  • It depends on the resource. Delete Location is idempotent, so removing a location that is already gone is not an error. Delete Program Webhook behaves differently - it is permanent, cannot be undone, and the webhook stops delivering immediately, so it is worth confirming first.
