What does Lyro need before it can issue a credential?

A group ID and the recipient's details. Create, issue, and send credential handles all three steps at once, but a credential has to belong to a group, so Lyro reads List Groups first and List Attributes to know which fields that credential expects.

Can Lyro create a new certificate design or email template?

No. List Designs and List Email Templates read what already exists in your Certifier account, and nothing in this toolkit creates or edits either. Design work stays with your team, and Lyro issues against what is already published.

Why would resending a credential fail?

Send a Credential only works on a credential that is already published, so one still unpublished has to be issued before it can be emailed. Lyro checks the credential's status with Search Credentials before attempting the resend.

Can Lyro verify a certificate someone presents from outside?

Not as a public verification check. These actions read the credentials in your own account, so Lyro can confirm with Search Credentials that a credential exists for a named recipient, but there is no action that validates an arbitrary certificate ID handed over by a third party.
