The phone actions are US only. Check Phone Fraud Risk and Validate Phone Turbo V3 both state it explicitly, DNC Lookup covers US National, State and DMA lists, and the Scrub actions validate US numbers. Lyro says so rather than returning a confident answer for an international number.

Is anything needed before Lyro can run a Do Not Call check?

Yes. DNC Lookup requires a SAN number issued by the FTC. With that in place it returns National, State and DMA Do Not Call status, identifies cell against landline, and flags numbers belonging to known TCPA litigators.

Which validation action does Lyro choose?

It depends on what the answer is for. Validate Phone Number (Scrub) is the budget option for large lists and returns connection status quickly, Validate Phone Turbo Standard adds phone type in around two seconds for web forms, and Validate Phone Turbo V3 returns carrier ID, caller name and caller type when a complete picture is needed.

How does Lyro confirm a stored consent still covers the person answering?

Reassigned Number Lookup checks whether a number has been reassigned since a given consent date. Paired with Wireless ID, which separates landline from wireless for TCPA purposes, it shows whether the consent on file still applies to whoever would pick up.
