What format does Lyro use to add features?

A GeoJSON FeatureCollection, supporting Point, LineString, Polygon, and the Multi-type geometries. Create or Update Elements creates new features by default and updates an existing one when felt:id appears in the feature's properties, so an edit does not silently produce a duplicate.

Why do some elements not show up in the element list?

Because List Elements returns only the elements that are not in a group. Grouped features come back from List Element Groups instead, each as its own GeoJSON FeatureCollection with the group's colour and symbol styling. Lyro reads both before reporting what a map contains.

Is deleting a Felt map recoverable?

No. Delete Map permanently removes the map along with every layer, element, and comment on it, returns HTTP 204, and cannot be undone. When a copy should be kept, Lyro runs Duplicate Map first, which clones the layers, elements, and configuration into a new map.

Can Lyro see where a map's data comes from?

Yes. List Sources returns the external data connections available to the authenticated user - BigQuery, PostgreSQL, S3, Snowflake and the like - each with its sync status, connection type, and access permissions. That is how a stale layer gets traced back to the connection feeding it.
