Setup, permissions, and the limits of what Lyro can do inside DeployHQ.

  • Not a standard one. The toolkit exposes Abort Deployment for stopping a run and Create Config File Deployment for pushing config files only, but it has no action that triggers a normal deployment. Lyro can prepare a project, report on runs, and stop one that is going badly, while the release itself stays with your team or your pipeline.

  • Usually SSH trust. Create Project Build Known Host adds a known host to a project and Get Project Build Known Hosts lists what is already trusted, which is the piece most often missing. Create Server and Update Server Group cover the rest of the target configuration.

  • Create SSH Command and Edit SSH Command manage the commands DeployHQ runs on the server around a deployment, and Create Build Command and Update Build Command manage the build steps. Get Project Commands lists what a project currently runs, so a change can be reviewed against what is in place.

  • Yes, through templates. Get Templates lists what your account has defined and Get Public Templates covers the ones DeployHQ publishes, while Create Template makes a new one that can start from an existing configuration. Excluded file rules and build commands are then edited on the template rather than project by project.
