Why does Lyro ask which publication before doing anything?

Because every other action is scoped to one publication. List Publications returns the publication IDs the connected API key can reach, and issues, categories, links, and subscribers are all fetched or created against a specific publication_id.

Can Lyro tell us how an issue performed?

Partly. List Issues optionally includes email performance stats, meaning open and click rates per issue, and can be filtered to published issues only. There is no per-subscriber engagement action, so anything deeper stays in Curated's own reporting.

Can Lyro publish or schedule an issue?

No. Create Draft Issue is the only issue write and it stops at a draft, so sending and scheduling remain a human decision. Subscribers are read-only here too - the toolkit lists them but has no action to add, remove, or tag one.

Should a customer-facing assistant be able to list subscribers?

Treat that action as internal. List Email Subscribers returns the publication's subscriber addresses, which is personal data, so it belongs in workflows your team runs rather than in anything a website visitor can prompt.
